Artby Rene Cabins, Barns & Sheds Collection
Cabins, Barns & Sheds:
This collection of paintings attempts to capture the essence of the many rustic dwellings that are scattered across the rural landscape or hidden deep in the wilderness. They are often nestled along country roads, beside streams and riverbeds, as well as in the shadows of great mountains. Viewing such structures in their natural environments can impart a multitude of emotions ranging from peace and tranquility to isolation and despair. Their leaning and weathered edifices bear testament to the dry spells and stormy seasons of our lives.
